Tesla hasn't had the best press regarding its post-acquisition customer support, and depending on where you live, finding a date at one of the company's servicing centers can sometimes require months of waiting with a faulty vehicle.
That is extremely infuriating for most owners and one of the most important complaints you'll hear if you visit the forums. While you're there, however, you'll also hear a lot of stories about how cool and helpful the company's mobile technicians are.

If the problem of your Tesla vehicle can be solved on the spot, then making an appointment with the mobile service is the way to go forward. Not only will it solve it more quickly, but you don't even have to bother to drive anywhere.

Besides, if you happen to have another car lying around that needs some attention to get it running, it would appear the Tesla technicians are glad to help. Even if it's a Ford F-150 Raptor we're talking about. Well, at least that's the picture Matthew Donegan-Ryan is painting.

Matthew made an appointment for a tire change on his Model 3 (he also owns a Model X), and soon enough a Tesla-branded van showed up on his "crazy steep" driveway. A bit overkill for a simple tire change, if you ask us, but it's not Tesla's fault people can't perform the simplest of tasks themselves these days.

It's not very clear how Ryan, the Tesla technician came to find out about Matthew's problems with his ICE pickup truck, a Ford F-150 Raptor, but after making quick work of the EV's tiny problem, Musk's employee agreed to take care of it as well.

With two electric vehicles lying around, it was the Tesla technician's van who was kind enough to act as the generous donor for Matthew's stricken Ford F-150 Raptor. The truck had been lying around unused for way too long, hence the depletion of the battery. And it doesn't sound it'll get too many miles in the future, either.

Matthew, who is the General Manager of Swapcard, is an EV enthusiast and one of the people who can't wait for the Cybertruck to launch. He says he sometimes needs the versatility of a truck, which is why he still owns the Raptor, be he'll quickly swap it for the first decent electric alternative. I'm sure this little incident won't do anything to change his mind.
