Land Rover has already taken the wraps of the fourth-generatin Rang Rover, and the next in line for a reveal is the Range Rover Sport replacement.
Today, we bring you fresh spy photos of the new SUV with less camouflage covering the front end. As you can see, the prototype is wearing some much narrower headlights and taillights. White the regular Range Rover has a sleek look, this has an imposing grille and aggressive air vents.
The platform for the all-new Range Rover Sport will be borrowed from its big brother, meaning an aluminum monocoque chassis will be used to save plenty of weight. This improves everything from handling and acceleration to fuel economy.
The engine range will start with the base 260 PS V6 turbo diesel, continue with a 340 PS V8 diesel and be topped off by the familiar V8 supercharged motor. Rumor has it, the Range Rover Sport will also have a hybrid or plug-in hybrid diesel variant, though this will come after the base model is launched next year.
