Borla, a byword for performance exhaust systems, has developed a suite of goodies for the 2016 to 2017 Chevrolet Camaro in 2.0-liter turbo and V6 flavors. Both exhaust systems have been designed individually for each Camaro model in the U.S. of A.
Manufactured with pride in the USA in Johnson City, TN, the new products come in many shapes and sizes. Including models equipped with Dual Mode exhaust function, there’s a Borla system for each and every sixth-generation Camaro out there. As with the aftermarket unit developed for the Camaro SS, the newest exhaust system from Borla measure 2.25 inches in diameter, are made by hand from aerospace-grade T-304 stainless steel and are drone-free.
Thanks to OE-standard engineering and quality, the two-tip and four-tip exhaust systems comply with the company’s Million Mile Warranty. Stainless steel makes Borla’s systems lighter than the factory exhaust systems. In addition to that, the slight performance improvement also comes with a free-flow exhaust design, meaning that the cars get slightly better fuel economy.
Prospective buyers can get the Borla Camaro 2.0 Turbo and Borla Camaro V6 systems with either the ATAK or S-Type mufflers. In terms of mid-pipe options, the company offers two: Performance or Touring. For the best sound possible for the Camaro, the Borla ATAK-Performance combination is the one to go for if you want to upset your neighbors and impress passersby.
