Tesla – the startup that lives the American dream in a novel kind of EV lifestyle – is about to revolutionize the automotive world once again at the end of the month.
That's when the company run by Elon Musk will introduce its latest model – the eagerly-awaited Tesla Cybertruck. Currently, the American EV automaker sells the affordable Model 3 sedan (from $38,990), mid-size Model Y crossover (from $43,990), and the Model S plus X flagships costing at least $74,990 and $79,990, respectively.

They don't change them often or introduce new models (like the Tesla Semi) regularly, which means the hype surrounding these premieres is always off the charts. They are also known for their tardiness, which actually lifts the hype to record levels instead of sending interest spiraling down. Well, human nature is tricky and challenging to understand, right?

Anyway, after first hearing about the possibility of seeing a Tesla pickup truck on the street way back in 2012 and 2013, the company finally premiered the official Cybertruck design in November 2019 – when head designer Franz von Holzhausen famously threw a couple of metal balls at the infamously unbreakable 'Armor Glass' windows and shattered both of them.

Since then, Tesla has been fixing various other flaws, and four years later, we are about to witness the very first batch of deliveries. Allegedly, only ten units will be awarded to select employees, so the November 30 event is already labeled as a 'paper launch.' But what if Tesla has more significant worries than that? What if people are tired of waiting for the edgy design of the Cybertruck to rival the Rivian R1T, GMC Hummer EV, Ford F-150 Lightning, and the upcoming Chevrolet Silverado EV, GMC Sierra EV, and Ram 1500 REV?

Well, no worries, as the imaginative realm of digital car content creators is once again lending a helping hand. Meet Dejan Hristov, a Skopje, North Macedonia-based freelance virtual automotive artist who has recently imagined a new take on the popularly outrageous Cybertruck. If the edgy style is not for you, then maybe you'll love this unofficial redesign that keeps the quirky wedge shape but sweetens the angles with sweeping, flowing lines.

There are also a few other mods – one of the most important being the morphing into an SUV and back to a pickup truck via a cool trick – the sleeker design allows the use of a rolling bed cover. Suppose that the CUV look is more to your liking. In that case, there's even the possibility of making this reimagined Tesla Cybertruck a sports pickup truck/SUV – the frunk is now like a drawer tucked below the front LED strip. There's a small wing coming up from the bottom of the windshield while another, more prominent, is tucked at the back. Cool or not?
