The Samsun SM5 is a large sedan, better known in Europe as the Renault Latitude - a rebadged version of the Korean car. Now, it has just received a facelift for the 2013 model-year, which boosts its aesthetic appeal with a few styling changes, as well as engines revised for more efficiency.
The aesthetic updates include a restyled front bumper, new headlights with integrated LED DRLs, new-design rims, a new grille, as well as redesigned foglights and new colour options. The interior design has been left largely untouched, yet the manufacturer says that overall quality has taken a step up, over the old model.

Under the bonnet, the car retains its two 2.0-liter powerplants, one petrol and one diesel, yet Samsung says that they have been tweaked, in order to improve efficiency and lower emissions. Some of these changes preview the upcoming facelift for the European Renault Latitude, changes which will make it more appealing to the style-conscious buyers of the Old Continent.
