The designers went for an open-space ground floor, with a seamless transition between the living room and the kitchen area, which makes the interior feel more spacious.

The use of white paneling on the walls and windows throughout also adds to the openness of the space. Besides the glass door, the living area also has a large picture window framed with western red cedar, which brings in plenty of natural light. The kitchen and sleeping loft also benefit from extensive glazing that helps with ventilation and brightness.

The kitchen is equipped with soft-close drawers and cupboards and modern appliances that make it perfect for cooking your favorite meals, including a stainless steel sink bowl, a two-burner induction cooktop, a low-profile microwave hood, and a fridge/freezer. Clients can choose between wood or laminate countertops, but regardless of what they choose, there is enough space for meal prep.

Using multifunctional furniture to increase a compact space's practicality is a common practice in tiny home design. Artelle also used this trick inside Artelle, with a good portion of the kitchen countertop also doubling as a breakfast bar and offering inhabitants a place to serve their meals.
