Russian Tram Strikes Back!

Any vehicle with a lot of rear overhang will tend to react very differently to what you’re used to driving (a hatchback, for instance). The phenomenon occurs on some trucks, buses and, as it was the case here, trams. The driver of the Lada tries to squeeze through a gap barely big enough to fit his car, but little does he realize that the gap will get even smaller.
Because of the generous amount of rear overhang, the rear end of such vehicles tends to go extremely wide on tight corners, going much further out than one would expect (and by one, we mean the driver in the video). And, predictably, it gives the Lada a good shove from the side, to remind it that trams can drift better, but can also cause more serious crashes than it ever could.

Thankfully, the accident was not severe, and everybody was on their way soon after!
