Europe is renowned for its narrow cobbled streets, with trams going along them as well. While this may be a pretty sight while you’re having a cappuccino, watching people, cars, trams and buses go by, it also creates some very unique situations.
Take this woman driving this old model Porsche Cayenne, in the Belgian city Antwerp. As she was getting out of the underground car park, she (probably) did not realize how close the tram line really was, and the inevitable happened. While we could just flame the woman driver for not paying attention, it’s not entirely her fault, as there simply isn’t enough visibility, coming out of the car park exit.
As we have previously mentioned though, when attempting a similar maneuver to the one in the video, always try to get onto the main road at an angle, so you can use your mirrors sooner, as well as getting you more direct visibility over the situation.
