Russians really seem to enjoy drifting their trams and it has happened more than once, as you can see in this video. We wonder what else goes on in Russia when the cameras aren’t rolling, because what we’re seeing is both shocking and slightly scary.
Apparently, the tram lost all braking and it ploughed through the intersection, running a red light and hitting a few cars extremely violently. Sadly, 11 people were injured and the at least 4 cars were damaged in the incident. Thankfully, the group of pedestrians which was crossing the road at the time, got to the sidewalk just in time, otherwise the outcome would have been different and we wouldn’t have shown you this video.
We were planning on adding more comic twists to this article, but the video is so violent and scary that, in the end, it’s not actually funny. So, if you go to Russia any time soon, watch out for the sliding trams - they may be fun to see, but watch out!
