With Russia being such a big country - a country with no fewer than 9 time zones (there used to be 11, until 2010), it has many roads which are hardly used, with most of its 143-million inhabitants being concentrated in and around the country’s major cities.
It is surprising then to see how they can still get into trouble, even on virtually-deserted roads. In the video posted here, the car with the dash-mounted camera is just driving along (no cars seen until the actual crash - yes, there is a crash), when all of a sudden, a Honda Prelude is seen speeding straight for it, having just overtaken another, slower, car.
The Prelude clips one of the cars and is then sent speeding sideways and out of the frame - probably ‘parking itself’ in a big obstacle of some sort.
