There’s no better cheap car in France to transport your cheese and baguette during the French summer than an old Twingo with a canvas sunroof. Sure, it might not be very fast or well built, but at least it’s honest about these things.
Now though, there’s a new one, it’s called the Twingo Summertime and is available as a limited edition model with manual climate control, an electric canvas roof and remote center locking.
The Twingo Summertime comes in a choice of four body colors - Pearlescent Black, Fuchsia Violet, Vanilla and Bermudes Blue. On this particular model, the interior trim, wheels and door mirror housings are all black.
When fitted with the 1.2 16V 75 PS engine, the car costs €12,200 in Europe, while the diesel version with a 75 PS dCi sets you back €14,000. The car will be launched in France beginning with this June, but order books have already opened.
