We are very close to the official release of the Alpine A110-50 concept, as Renault is expected to introduce the car over the web toady and make the vehice’s public debut during the Monaco Grand Prix this weekend.
The concept, which will celebrate the 50 year anniversary of the original Alpine A-110 coupe, is actually a remake of the Renault DeZir concept that was presented at the 2010 Paris Auto Show.
However, it comes with motorsport aerodynamic parts, such as the front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser, as well as the generously-sized rear wing. In addition to that, the vehicle also rides on a new set of rims and, of course, comes with a new livery.
The interior of the Alpine A110-50 concept is also racing-inspired, with the vehicle offering bucket seats, a rollcage, as well as a special steering wheel. As for the power, Renault has confirmed that the car will deliver 400 hp, with the expected engine being a V6 borrowed from Nissan.
