The Washington State Electric Highway is a very extensive network of EV fast charging systems, dotted along Intestate 5 and running the length of 3 states. When completed, it will span the 2080Km (1300miles), from the Canadian border, all the way to the Californian border, with fast charging points located every 40-100Km (25-60miles).
The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the three new Washington State charging stations, will take place on May 30th, as part of a much grander scheme, which will eventually connect the Canadian border, to the Mexican border, covering a distance of 2940Km (1843miles).

If everything goes to plan, one will be able to travel from the Northern part of the US (Canadian border) to the Southern-most part of the country, without having used a single drop of fuel - that will genuinely be an achievement!
