With an ever-increasing Eco-awareness, and in order to avoid the Congestion Charge, many Londoners are adopting the EV lifestyle. Their life will be made much easier as of this month, with the addition of 13 new charging stations, with 102 new charging outlets, within the city’s Q-Park car parks.
The chargers will be capable of fast charging speeds of up to 7kW, reducing the charging time by half. The locations where the new charging points are located are, as follows: Park Lane, Chinatown, Pimlico, Harley Street, Knightsbridge, St John's Wood, Trafalgar, Queensway, Oxford Street, Soho, Abingdon, Butlers Wharf, and Burlington. Furthermore, Q-Park will be offering a 50% reduction in parking fees for those who will choose to buy an EV Season Ticket.

With the recharging infrastructure expanding rather quickly, the 13 new recharging locations are a great addition to the UK’s 2,500-strong network.
