Trae tha Truth is an American rapper from Houston, Texas, who has developed a penchant for luxury rides fitted with massive, forged wheels – but is he wrong or right to feel so happy about that?
Frazier Othel Thompson III is better known by his stage name, Trae tha Truth (or simply Trae), and he has embarked on a journey of artistic knowledge as a prominent member of the Texas hip-hop scene. He's not doing it alone because longtime friend and frequent collaborator Z-Ro they made a name for themselves as part of the duo Assholes by Nature (ABN).
Please don't be too offended by the NSFW language, though, as he compensates with his activism and philanthropy as the founder of both Angel by Nature; a charity focused on the youth of Texas, as well as Relief Gang, a non-profit organization helping people rebuild their homes (and lives) after natural disasters like Hurricane Harvey.
In fact, his helpful work has become so successful that he has had an annual 'Trae Day' in Houston since 2008. Of course, that doesn't mean he doesn't indulge in life's little pleasures – such as owning some rides that easily stand out in any crowd. The latest, of course, comes courtesy of Tesla – the Cybertruck really is a magnet for creative ideas. It's sometimes for the best, other times for the worse, but it's always something exotic, it seems.
On this occasion, we are going to let you be the judge of Trae's direction as his latest addition to the garage is a Tesla Cybertruck dressed in milky white and burgundy. It's riding on aftermarket forged wheels by Forgiato Designs, and the 26-inch set is mixed with the white top to provide the perfect contrast against the EV pickup truck's crimson shade on the bottom half.
Interestingly, this Tesla Cybertruck won't stand out alone in a crowd – despite having the wrap and forged wheels credentials. Instead, it will stand tall along with some of Trae's other rides, a Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 ultra-luxury crossover SUV and a Mercedes-Maybach S 680 saloon. Usually, this trio would have nothing in common, but this time around, that's not the case. Instead, all of them feature the same white-and-burgundy dual-tone treatment and ride posh on multispoke Forgiato wheels.
Frankly, even if you don't like the Tesla Cybertruck or the opulence of Maybach models, it's hard not to appreciate the level of exotic braveness of making all three of them look like twins. Truly, just like the C8 Chevrolet Corvette, the Tesla Cybertruck (despite its potential shortcomings) has become like a blank canvas to make it your own. Just don't make it rose mirror gold anymore, please…
