Remember when we told you guys that Roger Rodas’ wife has sued Porsche claiming that her husband was an experienced driver, and a defect with the vehicle was, in fact, what caused the tragic crash?
According to the response filed in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California on Monday, the German luxury carmaker still believes that the only reason the crash happened is that the driver was going too fast.

Whether or not it’s a coincidence is not up to us to state, but Porsche filed their response just a couple of days before the official release of Furious 7. And we all know it’s the last time Paul Walker we’ll ever be seen on screen alive, which is quite a big deal for the regretted actor’s fans.

Investigators clearly stated the crash was provoked by “unsafe speed”, Rodas’ wife believes a vehicle flaw caused the 2013 fiery crash, and she claims to have proof to back it. According to NBC News, the lawsuit the woman filled claims experts have determined a suspension failure in the right rear wheel area of the sportscar. This allegedly caused the car’s rear end to swing to the left, sending the vehicle out of control.

Porsche hasn’t changed its mind and still denies that the model has any defects. “Roger Rodas’s death, and all other injuries or damages claimed were the result of Roger Rodas’s own comparative fault. [Roger Rodas] chose to conduct himself in a manner so as to expose himself and others to such perils, dangers and risks,” lawyers for Porsche said in their response.
