We're no stranger to Polaris' RANGER line of utility side-by-sides around here. From our test drive of the all-electric RANGER XP Kinetic about 18 months ago and the RANGER XD 1500 last year, we have it on good authority that the RANGER is one of the most refined lines of UTVs ever put to market in North America. The year 2025 is largely seen as a make-or-break year for so many different industry sectors. With consumers more strapped for cash than ever, Polaris appears poised to bring more bang for buck than ever for 2025.
The cornerstone upgrade for the RANGER lineup in 2025 has to be its all-new second-generation CVT gearbox. With lessons learned from the industry-leading Polaris SteelDrive CVT native to the range-topping RANGER XD 1500, Polaris' goal to trickle that spirit of innovation and refinement to its more conventional rubber-belt CVTs is plain to see. With 50 percent smoother shifts and more internal strength to better handle heavy loads, 2025's Polaris RANGERs have the working person's best interests in mind. It's all about making life on the job site just that little bit easier.

Polaris applied this mindset liberaly with the 2025 RANGER XP 1000 and upgraded RANGER XP 100 NorthStar, complete with a full front facelift with a new grille and bumper for increased durability over rough terrain, These new models come fresh with standard 29-inch all-terrain tires that are legitimately bigger than some light truck tires built for road-legal light pickups. Couple that with an all-new JBL stereo system installed from the factory, and suddenly, the life of a hum-drum UTV now has all the thrills and comforts of a normal passenger car/

Utilitarian components like a factory-installed roof for better weather protection plus a newly-designed 4,500 lb wireless winch running synthetic rope, and 2025's RANGER lineup can already do more work than RANGERs of old, and that's without dipping into the minutia of the affair. Between the bespoke Ranger 1000 and Ranger XP 1000 lineups, there's enough variation, selection, and adaptability to adjust to the workflow of any professional work site. From the most basic bare-bones cab to the most tricked out cab possible with stereo equipment and Polaris' Ride Command infotainment system, there's nothing on Earth in its category that provides the same value for money.

The most spartan, bare-bones 2025 RANGER XD 1000 will run you no more than $13,999 before taxes and fees. From there, the linup caps off with the all-new RANGER CREW XP 1000 Waterfowl edition built for hunters, and the Texas Edition NorthStar Texas Edition, geared towards Texan ranchers, cap off a lineup with more variation than most automotive lines at $25,499, $24,499, and $36,999 MSRPs respectively.

"From the completely redesigned 2024 RZR XP and the industry’s first “adventure side-by-side" Polaris XPEDITION, to our introduction of the all-new RANGER XD 1500, this year has been a powerful showcase of our ongoing commitment to lead the industry and innovate for our riders,” explained Steve Menneto, President of Polaris Off-Road and one of the leading minds behind the 2025 RANGER lineup. “While those revolutionary product debuts are pivotal, our unwavering focus on refining and enhancing our current offerings based on customer needs and feedback remains essential, and that’s what the 2024 updates represent." For now, the 2025 Polaris lineup is only a small wait away.
