With the new Astra GTC, Opel aims to attract more sporty-driving seeking buyers than ever and to do this, the company has focused on refining the styling of the car, in order to offer it a different identity to the five-door model.
The vehicle looks aggressive, with the designers working on the smallest details, such as the headlights and the taillights. Opel has recently released a clip that shows head designer Andrew Dyson explaining the various design features of the new GTC. The designer goes pretty far, telling us that this is “probably the most expressive car that we have on offer”
The clip also allows us to see the car being put through its paces on the engaging roads of Wales, UK. Here the Hyperstrut front suspension is explained, with its effect being shown on the road.
