The new Neiman Marcus Christmas Book is out and includes one very special Cadillac Celestiq. This is a one-off car that's looking for a new home, and you will have to be wealthy to afford it.
You see, the normal Cadillac Celestiq is already a pricey ride at roughly $340,000. However, the bespoke variant makes the regular one look affordable, as it costs an eye-watering $975,000. Neiman Marcus says that other taxes could apply, adding that it is eligible for shipping within the contiguous 48 US states (all bar Alaska and Hawaii).

But what exactly is the Cadillac Celestiq Carmen included in the new Neiman Marcus Christmas Book? Why, a one-of-one take on the luxury electric vehicle, as we already told you, which will feature a lot of goodies. Neiman Marcus mentions the 55-inch display, smart glass roof, choreographed lighting, and a few other goodies without going into specifics.

Cadillac's Celestiq also features a pair of intricate headlamps, an active spoiler at the back, power doors, and other screens besides the massive pillar-to-pillar one mentioned above. There is also an 11-inch unit on the center console, a rear command center at the rear, and two additional screens for the rear seat entertainment system.

Tech aficionados will be glad to find out that the car features the Ultra Cruise semi-autonomous driving system, too. A premium audio is obviously included as well, alongside the four-zone climate control, high-end leather upholstery, heated and ventilated seats, heated armrests, and so on.

As you can guess, the one-off Celestiq uses the same powertrain as the regular one, which costs way less. Thus, it features a bi-motor setup that kicks out an estimated 600 horsepower and 640 pound-feet (868 Nm) of torque. The GM-owned brand estimates that it can hit 60 mph or 97 kph in two-tenths under the four-second mark. With the 111 kWh battery pack fully charged, the driving range is around 300 miles (483 km).

Besides the actual car, the buyer will get a trip for two at the Artisan Center to see how the Celestiq is being put together. The whole experience also comprises a chat with the brand's designers, an exclusive tour of the Cadillac House, a luxury suite at a boutique hotel in downtown Detroit, and tailored meals complete with the chef experience.

According to Neiman Marcus, the bespoke Cadillac Celestiq Carmen went up for sale last week, on October 25, and the asking price includes a $25,000 donation to the Detroit Opera House.

Production of the Celestiq has yet to commence, as the first copies will roll off the line at the end of the year. Cadillac says it will hit assembly in December and will come to life at the Warren factory in Michigan in extremely low volumes.
