Ram Trucks announced the 1500 TRX Final Edition at home in America as a proper send-off to its iconic 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI V8 back in August with a starting price of almost $120k when you factor in the $1,995 destination fee to the $117,625 MSRP.
We do not have the pricing details sorted out just yet, but the Stellantis-owned brand is also offering the 2024 model year special series – of which just 4,000 units will be available – on the Old Continent, too. Starting sometime during the fourth quarter of the year (so, it's November or December), the Ram Trucks Official Network, the company's International Commercial Partner, will also bring the limited edition to Europe for an unspecified MSRP.
However, since we all know that American cars translating to Euro prices are always costlier, we can easily expect the 2024 Ram 1500 TRX 6.2L Supercharged V8 - Final Edition to go out to party for at least 120k euros at the very best. Anyway, this is an essential moment for collectors – the day of reckoning is fast approaching, and the 2025 Ram 1500 and TRX will lose access to the HEMI V8 engines. As such, this could be the final chance to snatch a TRX with the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 that's good for 702 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque – enough to send it flying over any terrain at up to 118 mph (190 kph).
"This model celebrates a true icon of the off-road truck scene. The introduction of the Ram 1500 TRX ushered in a significant shift in the segment's performance - when it debuted in 2020 as a 2021 model year, it cemented Ram Truck as North America's off-road truck leader. Today, we are making it legendary with an exclusive dedicated version," stated Tim Kuniskis, CEO of the RAM brand. This new Final Edition now offers more customization options like eight exterior colors, graphics, etc.
The shade choice includes three bespoke new options - Delmonico Red, Night Edge Blue, and Harvest Sunrise, all in combination with Satin Titanium bead-lock capable wheels plus a matching 6.2-liter hood badge and bed decal. Inside, the mighty rock-crawling and dune-bashing truck gets Patina stitching, 4x4 weave matte carbon fiber details, plus dedicated badges and Triaxle-suede door panel inserts, among others.
Ready to hit 60 mph (96 kph) in 4.5 seconds and the standing quarter-mile in 12.9 seconds at 108 mph (174 kph), the 2024 Ram 1500 TRX 6.2L Supercharged V8 - Final Edition gets a flurry of standard equipment perks – including a premium 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, head-up display, eight-way power driver and passenger seats, adaptive cruise control, Lane Keep Assist, pedestrian emergency braking blind-spot and cross-path detection and ParkSense front and rear park assist with stop feature, just to mention a few.
