Six wheels aren't normally used to help an off-roader reach its full potential. It's not easy to add an extra powered axle and make the articulation work to your advantage.
That's why only people with the big oil money could afford an AMG G63 6x6 and also why the Hennessey Velociraptor costs supercar money, even though it's based on the most common truck around. Yes, army vehicles pull it off, but they cost in the millions.

If you don't want to go off-road, things actually become more simple. You basically left with a normal tractor-trailer type of thing where the wheels are just there to deal with the load and put the power down efficiently.

Still, there's nothing normal about this thing, a cool 3D render inspired by everything that's unusual in the custom car industry right now. Right off the bat, we're getting Hoonitruck vibes. It's low; it's got no hood; it looks faster than a supercar.

But Ken Block's drifting toy is based on a 1977 F-150, and this looks much older, parts of it at least. The artist, Yasid Design, tagged #fordf150 in his post, but we see it more like a 1956 Ford F-100. Only the round cab is left of that iconic shape. Meanwhile, the fenders and nose seem to come from some kind of muscle car, maybe a Ford Capri, while the grille and bumper are modern truck parts redesigned in carbon fiber madness. This looks like the most expensive snow plow ever made.

The party at the back is even harder to explain - a racing fuel tank, radiators, orange cage and tires like you'd see on a dragster. The engine exposed like a twitching nerve with two turbochargers and some radical piping. We don't know how much power this would make, but cosmetically speaking, it beats the 900 horsepower Hoonitruck.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
