These days, an Internet connection is enough to get get acquainted with modded machines that looks like they're ready to swallow the world around them whole. You know, downforce monsters with super-sized aero and/or colored carbon fiber that stands out from a distance. But what about the introverts - how can this part of the go-fast community have its needs catered to?
Well, for one thing, I've met plenty of such gear heads that found themselves behind the wheel of a Mazda Miata. Of course, the MX-5 has always been more about enjoying oneself behind the wheel rather than traveling at the speed of light, which is why these little roadster need a bit of help to become truly menacing on the track.

And this is where the rendering that brought us here enters the spotlights.

This pixel adventure targets the original NA-generation Mazda Miata, which is the most understated of them all. Heck, if owners had a [insert favorite cryptocurrency subdivision here] for each time somebody labeled their MX5s as "adorable", they'd have enough money to shoehorn a V8 under that small hood.

And the package doesn't seem to be all that aggressive. For one thing, the carbon fiber is only partially visible, while the aero bits aren't the size of Japan.

Make no mistake though, this Mazda means business. And it's enough for a trained eye to notice the lip spoiler and especially the diffuser to figure that out - no, such items can't be left out, since downforce is crucial when engaging in time attacks, so you can't just sort out the hardly visible underside of a vehicle and call it a day.

This rendering comes from digital artist Al Yasid Oozeear, who, by the way, turned 33 today. And you should make sure to use the swipe feature of the Instagram post below for the complete eye candy.
