This is the 'Oh la la' type of incident. A Renault Twingo tapped the front bumper of a Porsche 911 GT3 RS in a parking lot in Paris. The Porsche reportedly belongs to famous Monaco-based car vlogger GMK. He ordered it in spring and got it delivered this past summer. So the sports car is brand-new.
Parking an expensive car in the busy streets of Paris can get pretty 'dangereux.' Yes, you guessed right, that is French for 'dangerous.' And the driver of a tiny Renault Twingo, which seems to be a delivery car, saw it with his own eyes. Everything was caught on camera by some pedestrians who had stopped to admire the car. The Porsche, not the Twingo, we should settle this from the very start.

The driver of the Twingo was trying to maneuver the car out of the parking spot. But in reverse, he did not stop in time and tapped the bumper of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS parked behind him. People stopped and stared or filmed the incident. Someone checked the Porsche and, from his gestures, the German sports car seemed to be just fine.

Only the registration plate was probably tapped. "That happens in Paris every day," someone wrote in the comments section on Instagram, where the video was uploaded on several profiles. It does, but it is not every day that a Renault Twingo wants to pay off some old score with a 911 GT3 RS. Furthermore, the car reportedly belongs to the owner of the GMK YouTube channel, which has over two million subscribers.

The Twingo involved in the incident looks like one from the previous generation, the third, a pre-facelift variant, which was built on the same production line as the smart forfour, in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. There were two engine options: the 0.9-liter and the 1.0-liter engine, with the latter being the entry-level variant with 69 horsepower (70 PS). The price of a new third-generation, entry-level Twingo in 2014, when it hit the market, was 10,800 euros, which is the equivalent of $11,772. But in almost a decade, depreciation must have slashed that price in two on the used car market over in Europe. The Twingo was never sold in the United States.

Meanwhile, its opponent in Paris was the brand-new, so badly sought-after Porsche 911 GT3 RS, recently delivered to the YouTuber. The model is powered by the naturally aspirated flat-six 4.0-liter engine that churns out 518 horsepower (525 PS) and 343 lb-ft (465 Nm) of torque for a run from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 kph) in 3.2 seconds on its way to a top speed of 184 mph (296 kph).

Seven months ago, on his YouTube channel, GMK revealed that Porsche had just validated his request to buy a 911 GT3 RS and that he was super excited about the news.

Back then, the super sports car started at $253,454 euros ($276,404). But he browsed through the options, checked some options boxes, and ended up with a car costing 330,000 euros ($359,882). The thumbnail of the YouTube video from this past spring reveals the Porsche with the same number plate as the one parked behind the Twingo in the video shot in Paris.
