The Nissan Livina is a great MPV/minvan... if you live in 2006. That’s the year nissan launched the compact MPV at the Guangzhou International Motor Show. The five-seat version is known as Nissan Livina while the seven-seat version is known as the Nissan Geniss, and we don’t like either of them.
But now, a facelifted version has arisen from the depths of the internet, featuring a different front end that’s more in tune with the times.

This green machine is called the Livina C-Gear, basically a regular MPV with plastic armor cladding to protect it from scratches if you want to take it up a dirt road. But ignore the black bits and you notice new, bigger triangular headlamps and a more pronounced grille. There are changes at the back as well, where the tail lights have gone from being tall to being long.

Nissan will make a few changes to the powertrain as well, as the current four-speed automatic gearbox will be replaced by a modern CVT.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
