New Renault Clio IV Shines in Florence

The new Renault Clio marks a clear departure from the past models for Renault. The French carmaker has recently struggled to make a profit with this model due to the increasing competitiveness of the European market, and the new one takes on a more premium approach to the business of superminis.
It’s a bit bigger and wider than before, but also lighter to increase that all important economy factor. Prices start at a steep €13,500, which is almost double what you used to pay for the model two generations ago.

But it comes with an intelligent touch display, its own apps, an interior that can be configured just like the body, chrome details, hidden door handles at the back and a range of really small and end efficient turbo petrol engines. All these things plus a body that’s more seriously design means the Clio IV is a head turner.

Renault recently took the new Clio which has just been unveiled at the Paris Motor Show to the ancient Italian city of Florence. Even among the most stunning architecture Europe has to offer, this supermini gets plenty of attention.
