Citroen has shifted over 43,000 units of the My Ami since it was launched three years ago, with 80% of them choosing a customized version. Fueled by its success, the French automaker has just introduced a new model to the family called the My Ami Pop.
Unless you have a soft spot for this model, you probably won't be able to tell it apart from the rest of the series – if it's not the My Ami Buggy, that is, which is one of the most interesting members of the family. But Citroen saw that coming, so it gave the new My Ami Pop special graphics on the outside, like those on the lower parts of the doors and side skirts.

The headlamp surrounds are part of the novelties, as is the black chevron strip sitting below the front windscreen. The reinforced black bumper is also new, and the car manufacturer also mentions the introduction of the Infrared hue, which now adds to the color palette. Elsewhere, it is the same tiny electric vehicle aimed at the urban jungle that features a very youthful design.

Normally, whenever an auto marque releases details about a new model, it also drops some images of the interior, especially since that is where some of the novelties can be found. But in this instance, Citroen hasn't. Nonetheless, the company mentions the yellow bag hook that's said to add "visual dynamism to the passenger compartment." The brand also speaks about the three storage bins with their orange finish, the door opening straps, and the special stitching on the floor mats.

Now, while these are pretty much limited to the new My Ami Pop, the model also comes with a new drive mode selector. Citroen says that it has a more ergonomic design, adding that it will make its way to the entire Ami series starting in the first quarter of next year.

Users will also find the door nets, central net, and the Dat@mi connectivity box inside, which basically turns the driver's smartphone into a veritable infotainment system, allowing them to check the range, mileage, and other data. The person behind the wheel doesn't have to keep touching the smartphone's screen to access various functions, such as setting the navigation system, making a phone call, or choosing a song, as they can do that via the Switch button found on the steering wheel.

According to Citroen, the new My Ami Pop is now available for sale in the United Kingdom. Pricing starts at £8,495 ($10,453) on the road, and customer deliveries will kick off in Q1 2024.

Before wrapping it up, we'll tell you that Citroen will soon make the Ami available to other markets, such as Denmark, Slovenia, and Bulgaria, having recently made its way to Switzerland, Martinique, Reunion Island, and Guadeloupe.
