Don't be fooled by the fact that this tiny house with a single-level structure only has one bedroom. It's one of the best bedrooms you've seen in a tiny house and one of the best overall configurations.
Some tiny houses flaunt an amazing lounge area, some dedicate most of their space to the kitchen, and some might even surprise you with a spa-like bathroom. In the case of this deluxe model designed by the New Zealand-based HouseMe Transportable Homes, it's hard to pick a favorite. No room was sacrificed in favor of another. The ultra-modern, sophisticated kitchen is just as fancy as the spacious lounge area, the exquisite bedroom with built-in wardrobes, and the comfortable walk-through bathroom.

It's this harmonious layout that makes the One-Bedroom Deluxe Tiny the most popular model in the Kiwi builder's range. It is indeed the luxurious version of a single-level tiny with just one bedroom, boasting nearly all the qualities of a mansion that's fully and easily transportable. A spacious, private, and easy-to-access bedroom is one of the main selling points of single-level tiny homes. Those who don't want to deal with tight-spaced lofts and inconvenient ladders are inevitably attracted by the flowing, open setup of a home where everything is on the same floor.

At the same time, this HouseMe model is longer than the typical tiny homes, which allows it to provide enough space for each different room. It's more than ten meters long (34 feet), with a total floor space of just under 30 square meters (323 square feet). The large glass doors lead straight into the kitchen area, even though the home's width allows a bit of separation between the entry area and the rest of the house in the form of a narrow hallway from one end of the house to another.

This is the type of kitchen that could please even the most demanding critics. The generous, U-shaped configuration gives it a truly contemporary and sophisticated look. In addition to the extensive countertop space, storage solutions abound – there are multiple different-sized cabinets underneath, as well as several overhead cupboards. At one end, the furniture boasts a dedicated compartment for a full-size fridge and a microwave oven, topped with additional overhead cupboards. A four-burner electric stove, an oven, and a ducted rangehood are also included.

The other end of the countertop was designed to double as an informal breakfast bar. It's much wider than your typical options and has the benefit of ample seating on both sides. One of the greatest things about this kitchen is how open and versatile it is. We know that open-plan layouts are still highly popular when it comes to regular housing, and they are particularly important for smaller, mobile dwellings. In this case, the kitchen is bathed in natural light and also gets beautiful views to the front and back.

It was also designed this way in order to easily transform into a modern entertainment area during summer. With the doors open, the kitchen seems to almost extend to the outdoors effortlessly. It also connects seamlessly with the lounge section. This is a wide, open space that can be configured in multiple ways.

The bedroom is fully enclosed, which translates to optimal privacy. A lavish two-person bedroom dominates the room, but you'll be surprised to discover not just one but three full-height, built-in wardrobes. Bedrooms with generous, easy-to-reach storage are a rare treat in the world of tiny living, especially if they also come with great views, such as this one. Huge windows were strategically added to create a connection with nature and to open up the space even more. Kiwi-designed tiny homes, in general, are known for prioritizing an indoor/outdoor flow through extensive glazing and open-plan layouts.

Unlike other one-bedroom tiny homes, this one doesn't keep the bathroom area to a minimum. On the contrary, it boasts a luxurious, extra-wide bathroom that doubles as a laundry. It comes with a full-size shower, a conventional toilet with a macerator pump, and a full-size washing machine (as an extra feature). Similar to the bedroom, it boasts a surprisingly large storage cabinet in addition to the standard mirror cabinet. It's rare to find a tiny house bathroom that offers such generous storage without appearing cluttered.

All in all, the one-bedroom Deluxe Tiny by HouseMe flaunts six large windows that keep the entire home bathed in natural light. The additional deck with an awning extends the floor space to the outdoors, which is great for those who want to spend as much time outside as possible. When the weather is bad, the living room is large enough for a cozy family setup, including a wall-mounted TV and a large sofa. It can also squeeze in extra storage if needed.

The price is another one of this popular model's attractive qualities. It starts at NZD 94,000 ($59,500), which isn't bad at all for a spacious home with a sophisticated design. Even though it's designed to accommodate two people at most, this Deluxe Tiny seems to be even more comfortable and practical than larger models with multiple bedrooms – and it does it all while flaunting a flawless contemporary style.
