Any car with celebrity pedigree usually fetches higher amounts on the specialized market than vehicles owned by normies. The bigger the celebrity, the higher the price tag is the only rule that applies to memorabilia and other collectibles. This powder blue Ferrari 812 Superfast might be the exception.
This powder blue Ferrari 812 Superfast comes with serious celebrity pedigree and, as of the time of writing, a very low price. The catch is in the headline of the story, obviously: the car has been involved in an accident, and not even minimal repairs were conducted before the listing went live.

In early December last year, Michael B. Jordan, the beloved actor from the Creed franchise and box office hit Black Panther, was at the wheel of this 2021 Ferrari when he became involved in a two-vehicle crash on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. Both his Ferrari and the other car, a blue Kia Niro, suffered extensive damage, but no one was injured.

Just a couple of weeks later, video emerged apparently showing Jordan racing his 812 Superfast against a red 488, before he lost control of the car and smashed with the passenger side into the Kia, which was parked on the side of the road. Due to the speed at which the Ferrari was moving, the impact was strong enough to tear a wheel off and scatter debris all over the road. No word if the driver of the other Ferrari ever showed up in the investigation.

In the meantime, police have decided not to pursue action against the actor, and he remains silent on the accident and whatever caused it. But the once-powerful 812 Superfast, which Jordan bought new a couple of years ago and had been using it as his daily, has been sold off to an insurance company, which is now looking to make a buck off the association.

The crashed Ferrari is for sale on a specialized auction site in an as-is condition. That means that you're getting a three-wheel 812 Superfast with severe damage to the passenger side and the undercarriage, and a before-accident valuation of $567,001. The listing doesn't mention if the car starts or runs anymore.

The pre-bidding period ends on February 8, after which a private auction event will take place. Pre-bidding is currently sitting at $107,000, and there's no reserve to be met.

Jordan is a Ferrari enthusiast, and not just because he once owned this beautiful car, in this eye-popping spec of powder blue exterior and dark red interior. In August 2023, he completed a Corso Pilota program with Ferrari at the wheel of a 296 GTB.

The video he posted on his social media to celebrate this accomplishment hasn't aged that well in light of his crashing the 812 Superfast while driving in a straight line.
