Having given us that stunning Ram 1500 TRX Extreme earlier this month, with its numerous mods, a custom interior, and a jaw-dropping asking price, Carlex Design is back in the limelight with yet another project. And it is very different from the tuned sporty pickup, as it revolves around one particular Mercedes-AMG S 63.
One does not have to be a connoisseur to tell that it is on the inside where it truly shines. You see, Mercedes S-Classes, regardless of what lies under their hoods, should have conservative-looking cockpits. After all, they were designed for business people. Only this one doesn't like staying between the lines.

We do not know what color the cabin of this sporty luxury sedan was initially, but now it rocks a bit too much orange. You can see the lively color pretty much everywhere you look, and that includes the front and rear seats, the door cards, the steering wheel, and other components.

For a more traditional look, it also has a few black accents. As for the thing that basically rounds off the aftermarket makeover of this Mercedes-AMG S 63, it is a limited edition plaque, according to the social media caption signed by the tuner. Besides the extra goodies, the customer also gets a certificate of authenticity, which should come in handy when selling the car on the second-hand market.

A single image of the exterior was released on social media, and we can see that it does not have anything new – bar the alloys, apparently. As we previously said, we're not wheel experts, but those look like they also came from the aftermarket world. They have a black look to match the rest of the car, which is bound to turn heads wherever it goes.

As for the specification of the luxury sedan, it looks like the Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance to us. Unveiled last winter, it retains the V8 recipe. Power is supplied by a bi-turbo 4.0-liter unit, whose output and torque are identical to the old post-facelift model's. However, the hybrid assistance with plug-in capability lifts the magic numbers to 791 hp (802 ps/590 kW) and 1,055 pound-feet (1,430 Nm).

According to the spec sheet, the naught to sixty-two mph (0 to 100 kph) takes 3.3 seconds, and the top speed is capped at 155 mph (250 kph). Nonetheless, order the AMG Driver's Package spice, and your S 63 E Performance will top out at 180 mph (290 kph).

Now, we think the stock vehicle's interior looks better than this tuned proposal, especially in white, beige, or black, but there are certainly car enthusiasts out there who would appreciate this one more. And the owner, as it was probably modified for one of Carlex's clients, is one of them.
