A decade ago, electric motors on cars seamed farfetched, even for family vehicles. But today, you can't even build a supercar without adding in a bit of current in there for good measure.
Ferrari, Porsche and McLaren have all prepared such a hybrid supercar, and today we got to meat the yellow Brit at its show stand in Geneva.
We've seen a ton of photos of the P1, ever since it was shown as a concept last year. But video walkaround footage of the actual production car was non existent until Marchettino from Italy and Shmee150 from the UK shot the car in Geneva.
We also have fresh photos from the Geneva Motor Show, where the MP4 Spyder was also on display. Since both the P1 and MP4 are shown in the same color, it's easy to see the evolution.
Only 375 P1 hypercars will be built and sold for around $1.3 million. Looking at this miracle of engineering, we're wondering if it will ever be as famous as the F1. Its cost is just as astonishing, but the top speed that had all the "kids" giggling isn't there since McLaren was more concerned with handling.
