Porsche’s 918 hybrid is one of the most eagerly anticipated cars Porsche has ever teased. It is extremely fast, being propelled along by a 4.6-liter V8 which is helped along by two electric motors, one of which produces 107 hp, while the other puts out a little more - 121 hp.
The combined total output of 770 hp should be good enough to satisfy any sporty driver, while its extremely low fuel consumption figures mean that after you’ve given up all your life savings, made a loan, sold most of your organs and did unspeakable things for money, fuel bills will not bother you.
It has been recently spotted around the Nurburgring by Youtube user fastsportscardriver, and we must admit that it sounds excellent and very racy. While it may have a similar engine to that of the Ferrari 458 (on paper, at least), the 918 will sound nothing like the Italian car, having a more Audi RS-esque rumble about it.
