The new year has just begun, but Baobab is already looking like one of the most impressive tiny house builds of 2024. It's not just supremely spacious and comfortable for an entire family but also delightfully stylish and elegant. A flawless layout meets uniquely sophisticated details.
Mobi Individual Baobab is the newest Mobi House creation built on the popular Mobi 06 platform. It boasts a regular length of 8.4 meters (27.5 feet), but there's nothing ordinary about its overall style. This tiny house was born to shine, starting with the unusual attention to detail reflected in its exterior appearance.

The Baobab is less colorful than the typical Mobi House designs. It replaces the vibrant monochromatic exterior with an intricate mix of texture and pattern. Anthracite sheet metal was combined with contrasting wooden planks in a natural shade, arranged vertically, for the façade. The front and rear parts of the house add even more texture – planks in contrasting colors were displayed in a herringbone pattern. This is a tiny house that looks sophisticated and contemporary without straying too far from a classic structure.

The interior is just as elegant as you'd hope, if not more. This European builder is known for its Scandinavian-style minimalism, but in this case, black and dark green elements were mixed in for a bolder, striking look with sharp contrasts. The White shiplap walls and natural wood flooring keep the Scandinavian DNA, while the sleek black furniture and dark green decorative accents add a contemporary, urban touch. This isn't your typical tiny house matching its simple, rural surroundings. The Baobab is more like a miniature luxury mansion on wheels.

A stunning split staircase divides the ground floor between the kitchen and the lounge area. The wooden handrails with natural string are exquisite and go far beyond basic functionality. One side of the staircase features hidden storage in the form of white kitchen cabinets, including a special nook for the fridge. On the other side, a spacious lounge area reveals one of the biggest sofas ever designed for a tiny house.

This huge L-shaped sofa is part of Mobi's custom modular furniture. In addition to generous seating, it also provides ample storage underneath. Windows on all sides bathe the entire area in natural light, and a TV screen is mounted on the wall to save space. This is more than a relaxation spot for the family – it's a great space for entertainment, socializing, and spending time with guests.

The kitchen is equally spacious. Style-wise, the elegant black-and-white contrast adds a luxurious touch, perfectly complementing the premium appliances. These are an induction cooktop with a hood, an oven, and a fridge (both electric), plus a dishwasher. Storage is not an issue for this elegant kitchen. Apart from the staircase storage, it also boasts ample cabinets under the counter and easy-to-reach overhead cupboards. Still, all of these cabinets don't create a sense of overcrowding; they're perfectly balanced within the overall available space.

All Mobi tiny houses reveal delicate details that make a huge difference, and the Baobab is no exception. One of them is the bathroom door – not a basic barn door, but a decorative one that's dark green on the inside and completely mirrored on the outside.

The mirrored side visually expands the ground-floor length, creating the illusion of an uninterrupted space. The bathroom itself is unexpectedly stylish. It may be small, but the mix of black and white items with patterned tile creates a powerful visual effect. The elegant glass shower cabin is perfectly complemented by the unusual all-black sink vanity, while the dark green door and various tile patterns create visual depth.

The Baobab is more than a dual-loft tiny; it offers the luxurious comfort of a two-bedroom home because both of its lofts are suitable for accommodation. Each one boasts the exquisite finishes of a sumptuous bedroom, starting with high-quality flooring and high-quality protection walls for privacy.

The main bedroom is spacious enough for a premium double bed with a bedside table and additional floor space. A ceiling-to-floor row of shelves adds storage without taking up extra space. The bed is literally surrounded by large windows, which is great not only for brightness but also for enjoying beautiful views.
The second loft was configured as a twin-bed room with one-person frames and mattresses on each side.

A dark green accent wall adds visual depth, while double windows on each side flood the room with natural light. There's not an inch of space inside the Baobab tiny that was overlooked. An incredible attention to detail makes every part of this home both elegant and functional.

In addition to the ultra-stylish interior design, the Baobab tiny has one final surprise – the roof terrace, accessible via a folding ladder. Mobi House has used this special element in previous models as well, each time with a stunning result. A roof terrace is one of the best ways to connect with the outdoors without affecting the home's compact footprint and mobility in any way.
