Ask an aficionado about the moment when the love of cars kicked in and you'll probably be in for quite a story. Sure, many say something like "I've been crazy about contraptions for as long as I can remember," but we all need to have our early years. And we've brought along an example of a little boy who jumps for joy with the help of a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.
The father is the one behind the wheel of the supercharged sedan and we can see the little one getting some serious giggles as the HEMI does its job.

As it turns out, this kid is enjoying more than just the SRT privilege, as the car is modded, delivering north of 1,000 ponies at the crank.

"I purchased my 2017 Charger Hellcat brand new march of last year. The car came with 707HP from the factory but I quickly became used to that and wanted more. I've modified the car a couple times to get more horsepower but the last time I did, it made the most horsepower it ever has," the owner explains.

Now, you might want to know what the "sauce" mention in the video (you'll notice it) is, so here's the explanation: "I took my car to a well-known hemi/Hellcat tuner in Illinois. His name is Tim Barth. That is where the Barth sauce and Tim sauce came from. It made 932HP to the wheels with the new tune and my son who is obsessed with the car wanted to go for a ride as soon as I got back home so that's what we did. I picked him up and floored it and he wouldn't stop laughing,"

Sure, there are also a few unanswered questions here (how fast was the car going, did the father hold the camera while he was driving, was the buckle of the kid proper adjusted?), but this is another story for another time.

Meanwhile, we'll take this episode as a testament of the fact that Dodge did get the number of doors right for the modern-day Charger.
