Well, since the new RC F’s performance and mechanics are said to be inspired by those of the IS F CCS-R, wouldn’t be awesome if the new performance coupe will also get a Club Circuit Sports Racer version?
Well, the same Q & A session posted by Lexus earlier also reveals that the automaker is considering a track-ready edition for the RC F.
Asked if there will be a street version RC F CCS-R, chief engineer Yukihiko Yaguchi said that “we are studying plans for a CCSR version of this car, but we don't have any confirmation right now.”
Lexus already has a high performance racetrack RC, which was unveiled at the 2014 Detroit Show and will compete in the next Japanese GT500 season.
