Apocalypse 6x6 has a massive roster following an extremely fruitful 2023: Hellfire, Juggernaut, Nirvana, Strikeforce, Warlord, Sinister 6, Super-Truck, Knightmare, and Dark Horse 6x6.
The idea of making your SUV or pickup truck a massively entertaining but also extremely powerful vehicle with a 6x6 build has been taken to all-new heights by a few American companies over the past few years. One purposeful example is Apocalypse Manufacturing from Pompano Beach, Florida, which was just a small-time 6x6 manufacturer when we first met them.
Back in the day, they only modified one model – the mid-size Jeep Gladiator pickup truck into a trio of aptly-named monsters like Sinister 6, Doomsday, or Hellfire. They were available both with diesel and V8 power under the hood and with the company's signature 6x6 driveline and modifications, of course. But then it struck them – what if they expanded 'a bit.'
Soon, they struck gold with an even larger Mopar – the mighty 702-hp Ram 1500 TRX became known as the Warlord. Wait, as that wasn't even enough. Instead, the TRX got modded into a couple more variations – Juggernaut and Super-Truck. But even then, they didn't call it a day as they set their eyes on vastly different things. For starters, they took the beloved sixth-generation Ford Bronco and made it a direct competitor for their Jeep Gladiator-based 6x6 transformations.
Yep, they took an SUV and morphed it into a 6x6 pickup truck; that's their current level of prowess. Well, not even that was enough, as there are other directions they can look into – such as playing with the first fully electric pickup trucks that appeared on the North American market. As such, the Rivian R1T became known as the Nirvana, and the GMC Hummer EV turned into Strikeforce. No, these two don't have 6x6 drivelines, but aside from that, Apocalypse gave them everything they had in the stable – from off-road exterior armor to weatherproof leather interiors and from Kevlar-coated paints to special lift kits to accommodate 38-inch tires and 20-inch Black Rhino aftermarket wheels.
However, we are not going to talk about these two in particular. Some fans complain that the behemoths become even more prone to draining their batteries faster than imagined with all the additions. As such, let's get back to the Ford Bronco 6x6. As far as Apocalypse is concerned, this is the genuine 'Dark Horse' instead of Ford's S650 seventh-generation Mustang, by the way. And you can even have it as a Ford Bronco Raptor if you seek to command a Knightmare build.

With up to 400 horsepower on board, they have in stock and ready to ship a Ford Bronco Dark Horse 6x6 that is ready to ship anywhere you need it – even if that's on top of a mountain or deep inside a glacier. This particular example they have up for grabs is something that can never be unseen thanks to its textured black off-road 'armor,' weatherproof interior, widebody fenders, and custom bed plus roll cage. By the way, the brand claims their Dark Horse and Knightmare 6x6 are the world's only Ford Bronco 6x6 widebody builds.
In particular, the example put up for grabs is 'just' $169k – which is a good deal compared to the Warlord, for example, which retails for at least $250k before adding custom options to the build. The copper exterior accents might not be for everyone, but for sure, the tan leather weatherproof upholstery is going to make sure this Bronco stands out in any crowd. As for performance, we dare not imagine the zero to 60 mph time in 6x6 as 400 horsepower suddenly doesn't sound like much anymore. Alas, with the power sent to all six wheels, this is more of a rock crawler than a highway express, anyway.
Just in case you don't want to bring a Ford Bronco 6x6 home, you can still tuck an Apocalypse 6x6 in the driveway because they have plenty of other options. At the time of writing, the inventory also included an all-black Juggernaut with the 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8 under the hood, 850 horsepower, and six-wheel drive, all for $249k.
If that one looked too menacing, you might want something that looks ready for modern warfare instead. As such, the third option from the roster is a turbo diesel Apocalypse Hellfire finished in Off-Road Armor Army Green and featuring another Cowboy Saddle weatherproof interior to go along nicely with the exterior copper accents. Of course, this one is more in line with the Dark Horse 6x6, as the company is asking $165k for the build.
