Back in the days, if you weren’t an experienced driver, you could drive with one or more low-pressured tires for miles, increasing their wear and consuming more fuel.
Nowadays, vehicles like the 2014 Toyota Tundra comes with tire pressure monitor systems, which detect if your tires are inflated properly and warn you to correct them if necessary.

If the Check-Tire-Pressure icon appears on your Tundra’s dashboard, check all the tires and make sure they have the correct amount of pressure, as recommended by the automaker. After you’ve checked them all and everything is OK, turn the engine on and hold the resetting button until the icon flashes three times.
