Each December, the ritzy Miami Art Week (6-10 December) hosts numerous international art fairs showcasing hundreds of galleries and possibly thousands of artists. Naturally, at least some of them manage to also connect with the premium side of the automotive industry.
Last year's edition, for example, Miami's Art Basel, connected the dots between the real world and its first-ever NFT collection. But those are not in fashion in 2023 anymore, so Land Rover decided to return to the basics – take an artist and an important model and blend them into an artistic impression.

The fifth-generation Range Rover was presented in late 2021 and has since generated considerable buzz across its most important regions – including North America. Even better, it has quickly become a darling of the aftermarket realm across both the West and East Coasts. Its more affordable sibling, the Range Rover Sport, aims to do the same. Now, though, the British automaker is trying to steal the custom show with a "sensory experience:" they just presented the "ultra-exclusive" Range Rover Sport SV Edition One Miami during the fashionable Miami Art Week.

The worldwide introduction was accompanied not just by an artist - Range Rover has collaborated with artist Daniel Wurtzel, but also through "a sensorial experience entitled Force of Nature." The experiential installation was created in collaboration with Wurtzel and is directly inspired by the Range Rover Sport SV, which rocks a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 packing 626 hp and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft), which is enough to allow the mild-hybrid AWD crossover SUV to hit 60 mph (96 kph) in 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 180 mph (290 kph).

By the way, Land Rover expertly avoided naming the Range Rover Sport SV Edition One Miami a unique creation – they offer interested parties an exclusive production run of precisely seven examples. Just like the recently introduced Land Rover Defender Pacific Blue Edition that was prepared for Australian surfers, the Range Rover Sport SV Edition One Miami is inspired in turn by the vibrant blue of the Atlantic Ocean and is painted in the SV Bespoke hue of Maya Blue.

Matching the eerie exterior, the SUV has 23-inch carbon fiber wheels, carbon ceramic brakes, bespoke eight-piston Brembo Octyma front calipers finished in bronze, as well as numerous features that "seamlessly blend sporting luxury with innovative performance-enhancing technologies such as the 6D Dynamics suspension system." While the base Range Rover Sport kicks off at $83,600, the flagship SV Edition One kicks off at $180,300 – but to catch an Edition One Miami, you will need to shell out at least $225k.

"Miami Art Week is a wonderful convergence of modern contemporary designers, artists, collectors, and curators, a perfect opportunity to present to our clients a very unique exclusive edition Range Rover Sport SV Edition One Miami, inspired by natural elements of Miami Beach," explained Charlotte Blank, US Chief Marketing Officer, Jaguar Land Rover North America.
