It's been a while since Lamborghini facelifted the Urus family, launching the more track-focused Performante version. But this model has recently stepped into Novitec's garage, gaining a custom body kit and a healthy power boost.
In the power department, the famous tuner gave it the N-Tronic control module, as well as a new stainless steel performance exhaust system, which can be specified with butterfly valves. The result is 771 hp (782 ps/575 kW) and 761 lb-ft (1,032 Nm) of torque.
The twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine produces 657 hp (666 ps/490 kW) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque in the stock Lamborghini Urus Performante. This model needs 3.3 seconds from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 kph), yet Novitec's proposal drops the sprint time by two-tenths of a second, increasing the top speed from 190 mph (306 kph) to 193 mph (311 kph).
A set of sports springs lowers the ground clearance by one inch (25 mm), and it is also available for the air suspension of the Urus S. The tuned Urus Performante rides on new wheels, 10.5x23 inches at the front and 12x23 inches at the rear. Developed in cooperation with Vossen, they were wrapped in 285/35 and 325/30 tires, respectively, and feature hubcaps in a centerlock design for a racier stance.
The aftermarket upgrades do not stop here, as Novitec has also given Lamborghini's range-topping version of its super crossover a new body kit. It comprises fender flares that make it 3.9 in (10 cm) wider at the front and 4.7 in (12 cm) at the rear. Although stock, the front bumper has received a few add-ons and a new apron. The side skirts are new, the rear diffuser has a more aggressive design, the original hood was replaced with a fresh one, and the roof spoiler completes the makeover.
Novitec can also leave its mark on the interior of any Lamborghini Urus, including the S and the Performante. Here, their team can come up with new upholstery that can be finished in a generous amount of hues to match each individual's personality. New trim is also available, alongside contrast stitching and a few other bits and bobs, including the tuner's logo that can decorate various elements. The pictured Urus Performante does not seem to have received any aftermarket goodies in the cabin.
The exterior components are said to have been made from PUR-Rim in OEM quality, and the tuner guarantees perfect fitment and easy installation, as well as paintability to match the vehicle's exterior. Moreover, some of these parts can also be equipped to the less aggressive version of the Urus, which features the S suffix and boasts identical power to the Performante, yet is slightly slower to sixty-two miles per hour. To find out how much everything costs, you will have to reach out to the tuner.
