Lamborghini Urus Could Get 670 HP Hybrid Version

Every time Lamborghini CEO and president Stephan Winkelmann does an interview, he ends it by saying the company is still waiting for the green light to make the Urus. That tells us two things, that the SUV isn't yet the reality we thing it is, and hat Winkelmann has all but made up his mind as to what he wants to see in production.
We already know that the Urus would probably be powered by the 4-liter twin-turbo V8 offered in the Bentley Continental GT and on hot Audi models. But it could also be a hybrid.

That's not really news, since sister company Bentley has been working on a hybrid system for its SUV. But what is interesting is that the Urus could offer the hybrid drivetrain from the beginning, and that this could pack as much as 670 horsepower.

Since Lamborghini is trying to carve the image of a technology-oriented company for itself, we wouldn't be surprised if the system is very advanced, maybe offering an EV mode to power the SUV on batteries alone.
