If you decided to skip this year’s edition of the Monterey Classic Car Week, we have really bad news for you: both the mighty Urus SUV concept and the Sesto Elemento have been announced for the even, as they will be making their North American debuts.
What’s more, the well dressed and well spoken Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann will be on hand to show the cars and reveal what they are all about. We have a sneaking suspicion that these debuts have something to do with Lamborghini’s new facility that specializes in making one-off as well as carbon fiber projects. Between the Urus’ strange carbon seats and the Sesto’s lightweight chassis, there’s plenty to blow people’s minds with.
The Urus is being considered for production, and the fact that the Estoque sedan isn’t going to be in Monterey shows the scales are tipping towards the SUV… at least in our minds.
If you’re not convinced, just head on over to the Concorso Italiano and check out the new bulls.
UPDATE: A representative for Lamborghini in the US contacted us to tell us that Sesto Elemento and Urus will not be shown at the Concorso Italiano like we presumed. They will be showcased at LcCall’s Motorworks, the Quail, and the Pebble Beach Concours. He also told us that a few Gallardo and Aventador models will be shown at Comcorso.
