While we won’t see a production version of it for another few years, the Lamborghini Urus is definitely coming, regardless of what the ‘purists’ are going to say - if there are any of them left (and we truly hope there are).
Lamborghini want the attention anyway, as it is not really important whether people will like or hate it, it is attention nevertheless - all attention is positive in this industry.

The concept, the only one currently in existence is on display at the Lamborghini factory and museum, for everybody to see and get used to the idea. Its transition from concept to production is 5 years away, as reports suggest that it will not enter production until 2017, and it will end up costing in excess of €170,000 ($206,400).

We are really looking forward to it and its turbocharged V8 powerplant, which is probably similar to that of the new Bentley Continental GT V8 and various other Audi models. Apparently, Lamborghini are aiming to sell quite a lot of these, and despite the official figure of 3,000 per year, we say the plan on selling even more of them.
