With the Revuelto unveiled a few months back, Lamborghini can now focus on bringing the successor to the Huracan to market. The all-new supercar was spied a few times these past few days, wearing its final production body.
Looking very aggressive for the most part, it retains the wedge-shaped silhouette that the Italian automaker is famously known for when it comes to its real blue-blooded machines (the Urus is just a fast and more exotic-looking Touareg), and from certain angles, it kind of looks like the Tumbler Batmobile.

As far as the construction is concerned, it is said to be very similar to that of the Revuelto, which acts as the replacement of the Aventador. But to save money, Lamborghini will reportedly use more aluminum than carbon fiber. The biggest unknown, bar the design inside and out obviously, is what type of engine the brand's new entry-level supercar will use.

It's definitely a plug-in hybrid powertrain, and the latest intel suggests it's a V8 with twin turbocharging. Compared to the Huracan, the new unit has two fewer cylinders and forced induction and will be assisted by one or more electric motors. The output will allegedly stand at roughly 850 horsepower, enough to give it a significant boost over the naturally aspirated V10 of the Huracan without stepping on the toes of the bigger Revuelto, which boasts a total of 1,001 horsepower from its naturally aspirated V12 and electric motors.

It will be a while until the Huracan successor starts shedding the fake skin, as the unveiling is said to take place at the end of next year, according to CEO Stephan Winkelmann. Thus, while the wraps will officially come off at the end of 2024, they were already removed using a heavy dose of CGI. The rendering artist behind the image of the green supercar shared in the gallery is spdesignsest on Instagram, who tried their best to keep the overall proportions and styling traits of the upcoming supercar.

As a result, it features a pair of slim LED headlights, additional lighting units below, a big central intake in the new bumper, reflectors in front of the wheels, air vents behind the doors to feed air to the internal combustion lump, and a sexy overall silhouette defined by curvaceous and sharp lines. The digital artist went as far as reimagining some elements and adding others, like the rear wing. The wheels, which spin around the brake calipers finished in red, are also new. Several red accents were added to various components.

So far, we're not pleased with the styling of the Huracan's successor, if it indeed looks like this, as we think the V10-powered supercar is far prettier. But who knows, maybe the design will eventually grow on us, right?
