Lamborghini would have you thinking that their Huracan Sterrato is an off-road supercar. The truth is that it still uses the same nuts and bolts as the regular V10-powered machine, save for a few key upgrades.
It has longer-travel suspension, a higher ground clearance, dedicated wheels wrapped in thicker rubber, some add-ons on the outside, a pair of rally-style additional lights, and some other tweaks. Therefore, it shouldn't be the first choice when it comes to venturing off the lit path, as it's not a real off-roader.
Mind you, that hasn't stopped some overenthusiastic owners from giving theirs a severe beatdown. We saw a video a little over a month ago that showed the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato flying through the air. Shot at the Cowm Quarry in the UK on September 2, the video appears to reveal that the off-road-ish supercar survived the ordeal.
However, as it happens, there were some damages that the YouTuber chose to edit out. Some components were bruised up during the hardcore landing that we didn't get to see back then. And since most web surfers who saw the footage asked to see the landing, too, Mark McCann, the supercar's owner and the man behind the jump, has just dropped another video.
At a little over ten minutes long, it shows the landing part from multiple angles. And that's not all, as it also puts the spotlight on the damages his Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato endured. From a front bumper gap and a mangled underbody to some broken components and a misaligned steering wheel, these are all being highlighted in the footage that you can see below.
So, how much do you think it cost him to fix his jacked-up machine made by the Raging Bull? Was it a small fortune? Was it a decent number? Well, we won't spoil the video for you, so you will have to scroll down and hit the play button to find out. And while you're at it, let us know if you'd buy a Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato if given the opportunity. Keep in mind that it has a direct rival from Porsche, too, the 911 Dakar, which follows a very similar recipe.
Before scrolling down, we also have to tell you that the driver sustained some whiplash as a result of the harsh landing that didn't go away even after a few weeks. Guess what happens when you ignore all common sense and jump a road-legal model that costs a lot of money, thinking it's a buggy. On the other hand, we don't get to see that many films in which expensive vehicles are being thrashed around, so we hope he will keep performing all crazy stunts in his Sterrato.
