Discontinued after the 2024 model year in the United States and Canada, the Jeep Renegade lives on in other markets and has just received a few updates for 2024 on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean.
Europe's Jeep Renegade has many updates, most of which revolve around the technical aspects, and it should feel a bit more modern. After all, it will soon blow ten candles off its birthday cake, so it is an old product in today's fast-moving car world.

One of the novelties is the introduction of a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. According to the Stellantis-owned brand, the display is 40% larger than its predecessor and five times quicker. Customers will also find 4G connectivity on deck, as well as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It supports over-the-air updates and comes with Amazon's Alexa voice assistant.

It's not only the central screen that was replaced by a new unit but also the digital instrument cluster. The latter has a 10.25-inch diagonal and sits behind the redesigned steering wheel. New USB ports are also included. Jeep also mentions the new digital camera and states that remote functionality is available, as owners can lock and unlock the doors and turn the headlights on and off via their smartphones.

If this bit hasn't impressed you, then the next one probably won't either, as it speaks about the trim levels, with the entry-level featuring the new infotainment system, USB ports, and steering wheel, and riding on 16-inch alloys. The Altitude adds LED head- and taillights, LED fog lamps, LED DRLs, 17-inch alloys, roof rails, automatic air-con, rear parking sensors, auto-folding side mirrors, and a few other extras.

Moving to the superior Summit, this grade brings 18-inch alloys, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel wrapped in leather, windshield wiper de-icer, and carpeted floor mats. Getting the Overland will bring 17-inch alloys wrapped in mud and snow tires, an off-road bumper, a digital camera, and others. Topping the family is the Trailhawk with its skid plates, fabric seats, sport and rock driving modes, height-adjustable cargo load floor, red tow hook, hood decal, 17-inch wheels with 215/60 tires, and all-season floor mats.

Power-wise, Europe's 2024 Jeep Renegade comes with two partially electrified assemblies, the e-Hybrid and 4xe plug-in hybrid. Save for a few tiny updates, these remain about the same, yet they are more frugal and less polluting, with the automaker stating that these aspects have been improved by up to five percent by their estimate. Pricing varies from market to market, and as we already told you, the Renegade is no longer available in the United States. The 2023 model used to start at $28,445 before destination for the Latitude, topping at almost $33,000 for the Limited.
