A fool and his money will be parted. At least that's what all the people without money say, but there's nothing wrong with spending cash on fast cars, especially if the Jaguar F-Type is to your liking.
Even though it's made from aluminum, the F-Type Coupe is heavier than the Porsche 911 while also being less practical. But there's something about the design that just speaks to the man inside you, the guy who doesn't shave or care about what other people think.
The engine isn't bad either, a 5-liter supercharged V8 producing 550 horsepower in the case of this particular car, an F-Type R Coupe. Sure, Porsche gets more power from its 3.8-liter twin-turbo while Mercedes does more with less in the case of the AMG GT. But the Jag sounds better than all of them.
So it's a shame to see a stunning object of desire like the F-Type R Coupe crashed in Dubai. The damage doesn't appear to be too bad, but looks can be deceiving when it comes to performance cars, especially ones that are built from fragile aluminum.
Unless we're mistaken, Jaguar put a lot of work into building that crumpled up hood. It's one big piece of metal that covers a large section of the car. To build it, the flat piece of metal had to go through the stamping machine three times.
As usual, the sportscar looks almost abandoned by the side of the road, probably awaiting a tow truck. We don't know what happened, but the wing at the back is up, so there was a fair bit of speed involved.
