One of the earliest tiny home designs by the popular Rewild Homes is entirely worthy of an iconic status due to its highly ingenious layout and spectacular interior style. This wonderfully warm and airy house on wheels was envisioned as a peaceful haven for the owners as well as their pets.
The Warbler is already eight years old, but it's undoubtedly one of those timeless tiny houses that will continue to inspire future generations. That's mainly because it displays one of the best tiny house interiors featuring abundant natural wood. You might think that the market is flooded with excellent designs, but eight years ago, the tiny living phenomenon wasn't so widespread, and the builders who took layouts and overall comfort to the next level were true pioneers.

The abundant use of natural wood for the interior gives the Warbler that typical warm, nostalgic vibe of traditional cabins, but with the added benefit of generous dimensions. This 24-foot (7.3 meters) tiny is much more spacious than a conventional cabin and able to accommodate at least four people easily. In other words, the Warbler combines the warmth of a simple cabin with the contemporary comfort of a family home.

This special luminosity is the result of a magical mix between the exquisite woodwork and multiple windows of different sizes, including additional skylights. The entire natural-toned interior is hit with natural light from all angles, which keeps it remarkably bright and warm throughout the day. Plus, the bigger windows add wonderful panoramic views that seem to blur the line between the inside and the outside in a delicate manner.

At first glance, the Warbler displays what is now considered an almost classic dual-loft layout, which translates to a double bedroom layout. But there's more. A special feature turns this basic layout into a whimsical, playful one with added functionality.

We're talking about the cool shelves between the two lofts, which also double as a literal catwalk for the owners' pet. We've seen split staircases and sophisticated walkways connecting two lofts, but this quirky catwalk is a first. It's one of the most original ways to add convenient storage without taking up any of the floor space and doubling as a fun element for the cat at the same time.

As for the owners' access to each loft, a hybrid solution was preferred. The main loft above the kitchen area is accessed via a typical staircase with integrated storage. Once again, if you look carefully, you'll discover that one of these hidden storage compartments is actually a kitty litter box in disguise. The opposite loft, on the other hand, comes only with a basic ladder so that it can free up the area underneath for a cozy lounge.

The pet-dedicated amenities in this house were added so cleverly that you'd hardly know they were there. Plus, they don't take away even an inch of functionality. The cute catwalk doubles as a generous storage solution, with those shelves covering a large part of the side wall, while the hidden litter box is just a small part of the integrated staircase storage.

The opposite side wall features multiple windows that were strategically added for increased luminosity. They're complemented by a huge skylight in each loft bedroom, which magnifies the effect. The ground floor comes with its own large windows that bring natural light into the kitchen area, the lounge area, and even the bathroom.

Despite its rustic, minimalistic appearance, the Warbler flaunts a perfectly modern kitchen. An electric cooktop and a mini fridge/freezer are part of the basic appliances, which also include an on-demand water heater (also electric). Multiple cabinets and drawers on both sides, as well as carefully integrated overhead cupboards, provide excellent storage. Behind the elegant sliding door that doubles as a decorative feature, the bathroom reveals its own modern equipment and stylish vanity.

Although this double-sided kitchen comes with generous countertop space, a foldable extension was specifically added as a dining solution that maximizes space. As for the entire front section of the house, it offers ample room for a classic living room setup. A built-in bench was conveniently placed right next to the foldable dining extension. Due to its position by the window, it can be easily turned into a cozy reading nook. It even adds more hidden storage.

Both lofts are big enough to fit double-person beds and other furniture items. With double windows on each side and oversized skylights, they are supremely luminous, unlike typical loft bedrooms. Plus, there are no protection walls to block the view, although some might feel a need for extra privacy. Overall, the Warbler exudes a fantastic sense of openness and flow, which makes it seem much more voluminous than it actually is.

When it comes to dual-loft interiors, this iconic build by Rewild Homes is a winner. Plus, it demonstrated early on that downsizing never has to mean giving up your pet. Instead, building a tiny home from scratch gives you the opportunity to create a dream home for your family and your pet, even if it's the miniature version.
