The Tesla Cybertruck hype is far from over. People are queuing to get their hands on the model that they have been waiting for since 2019. But Tesla is currently only delivering the Cybertrucks in the United States.
This is the first Tesla Cybertruck to set wheels in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. The vehicle is parked on the beach, in front of a Tesla dealership, and is surrounded by photographers like Kim Kardashian was on the red carpet at the 2024 Met Gala on Monday night in New York. Arab princes came to take a look at the vehicle and maybe place an order.

Sitting between a Tesla Model S and Model 3, the Cybertruck steals all the attention. The dealership put on a light show of the three Teslas, which made the audience cheer.

The Cybertruck that arrived in Dubai is the Foundation Series. So whoever will drive it home will have to pay at least $100,000 for it. There is no information about the powertrain, so it could it either the dual- or the tri-motor, since Tesla has also started delivering the range-topping Cyberbeast with 845 horsepower and a run from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 97 kph) in 2.6 seconds.

That would help the owner outrun most of the supercars in the Dubai police fleet. Let's just hope that won't be the case, though.

The Foundation Series comes with the white lower section of the dashboard and door cards, a feature that many owners totally dislike. That is why many decided to go for customization going either for an all-black interior or a black-and-red color combo.

The one introducing the model says the body of the Cybertruck is made of titanium, which couldn't be farther from the truth. While it does have the same strength as the stainless steel that Tesla used on the Cybertruck, it is about 40 percent lighter than the stainless steel.

The presence of the Cybertruck in Dubai is part of the model's world tour. The vehicle is on display at City Center Mirdif for two days before going to Jubail Mangrove Park in Abu Dhabi and back to Dubai in mid-May.

However, this is not the first Cybertruck to set wheels in Dubai. It is just the first one to do it officially. Back in May, one arrived there searching for an owner. The model was for sale on Dubizzle with an asking price of 520,000 Dirham, which translated to $141,577. That price was way below what American customers asked for their electric trucks on the used car market in the US.

The listing is not available anymore, which means that someone has already been driving the Cybertruck on the roads of the United Arab Emirates for quite some time.
