Honda Gresini Signs Deal with Cotton Joy

This may turn into an annoying series of articles linked with MotoGP team San Carlo Honda Gresini, but it seems the Italian team keeps signing new sponsors for the upcoming season of the premier motorcycle racing series. According to a media release from Fausto Gresini's team, a new sponsor has entered the boat ahead of the season opening Qatar round.

Cotton Joy, an Italian bed linen and household accessories firm, decided to partner the Italian team on their new MotoGP adventure, while promoting their brand new "Power" bathrobe via championship riders Marco Melandri and Marco Simoncelli.

As well as being enthusiastic about our collaboration with Team San Carlo Honda Gresini we are happy to be represented by Melandri and Simoncelli, two of the most talented, charismatic and competitive riders around. We are convinced we are ‘on the right track’ and we know that this partnership will bring with it a lot of satisfaction and new opportunities,” said Thomas Mantellassi, Managing Director of Cotton Joy.

We would like to welcome Cotton Joy as the latest partner of Team San Carlo Honda Gresini: we are sure that this is the start of a pleasurable and fruitful collaboration,” added the team's boss when announcing the partnership.

In recent months, Fausto Gresini's team has signed deals with printing supplies company PRINK, sports sunglasses manufacturer ZERORH+ and Italian jeans firm Rifle (personal endorser for Marco Simoncelli). The team also announced, earlier this year, that it will field two bikes in the inaugural Moto2 championship this season, so the more sponsors they will secure prior to early April - when the new season will go off - the better for Gresini's 2010 operations.
