Gresini Sign Deal with ZERORH+ for 2010 MotoGP Season

Fausto Gresini seems to be doing great these days, as several positive news appearing in the MotoGP world were centered on his team. After confirming his 2-bike programme in the Moto2 Series, the Italian team boss today announced that he signed a new sponsor for his MotoGP operations.

In a time when most team owners/bosses/managers are either trying to keep their sponsors or searching desperately for new ones, Gresini managed to convince sports sunglasses manufacturer ZERORH+ to join his team prior to the 2010 campaign. Consequently, the brand will make it to Marco Melandri's and Marco Simoncelli's bikes through the entire next season.

I am happy and proud to have signed this important agreement with ZERORH+. It is always important to build relationships with companies that share our infinite passion for sport, for Italy and for the Italian spirit. The quest for high performance that emanates from the smallest component of our team matches the search for maximum development of technology of ZERORH+, which constantly raises the level of their performance,” said Fausto Gresini.

We are bringing together a common approach to high level performance - them in the organization and management of a successful team and us in the invention and creation of high quality products. ZERORH+ combines high quality material with technology and know-how in a constant attempt to raise performance, in much the same way the bikes of Melandri and Simoncelli will be tuned throughout the MotoGP World Championship in 2010,” added Stefano Fabris, Managing Director of ZERORH+.

As a special product for this particular deal, the Italian company designed some special edition glasses for Melandri and Simoncelli to wear during Grand Prx weekends, called PLASMA.
