Australian automaker and GM subsidiary Holden has released a new video featuring its Colorado pickup truck. Not available in the US in this form, the Holden Colorado is taken on sandy terrain by 4WD’s Simon Christie.
Engineered as an entry-level truck and partly designed in Brazil, the Holden Colorado still struggles behind similar Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi and Ford offerings in the Outback, but GM is not giving up without a fight. It’s not like this video unveils that the Colorado can do what other pickups cannot, but the scenery makes it worthwhile.

In case you were wondering when the Chevrolet Colorado will be arriving in the US the next-generation version is rumored to hit nationwide dealerships in 2014 along with its GMC Canyon twin.

Until further details surface, scroll below to watch the Holden Colorado at work.
